Hideaki Matsui is a Japanese designer based in San Francisco. He loves to collaborate with people from different backgrounds and believes that unique and valuable creations are achieved through collaboration.
Hideaki is currently working at Google, where he is leading a team to humanize advanced technologies and create magical experiences with Google Assistant hardware in various categories.
Previously, he worked for design consultancies including Fuseproject, Smart Design NY, and Arnell Group where he designed digital and physical products for clients in electronics, entertainment, household, houseware, and medical categories. He has a BFA in Product Design from Parsons NY and a MA in Interaction Design from CIID in Copenhagen.
